Arian Galdini began his civil, political and public activism in the early 90-s. Well-known as one of the founders of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party of Albania - YFDP, he had the opportunity to lead the YFDP branch of Vlora from 1991-1994.

In 1997 he initiated and leaded a student movement that aimed at promoting peace and at overcoming the crisis and the conflict that had erupted in Albania after the fall of the pyramid schemes.

At the time, he successfully covered the role of Chairman of the Student Committee for National Reconciliation. The following year, from 1998-2000 he was Chairman of the Albanian Student Council.

Later on, he pursued the civil activism by founding and successfully leading for several years first the Albanian Free Forum and then the Forum for Democracy and Ethics - FDE.
